Born, raised, and living in Erie, PA, Big Al Knight (version 2.0) started o

his broadcast career in
1994, as a co-host of an automotive talk show on WLKK in Erie, PA until 2000. In 1998 he opened
Norwegian Wood Recording Studio with his wife Marie, and they retired from that in 2018. Since
2010, Big Al has been dedicated to sharing “The Greatest Hits of All Time” with the listening
public. His journey began at WYNE in North East, PA., which morphed into WMCE in Erie and also
WSRQ in Sarasota, FL. He has finally nestled comfortably at WUUK-LP, Sunny 105.7 Canadohta’s
Greatest Hits, in 2024 as the “yawn to dawn” guy.
Al has engineered and produced dozens of albums, commercials, and DVD projects during his
studio years.
His newest adventure, The Power Pop Hour Show, features timeless classics and modern
favorites alike in the Pop/Power Pop/Jangle Pop vein. Al’s favorite period is between the mid
60’s to mid 90’s! It’s a full hour of great songs, fun, and information.
